The Kennedale Lady Kat volleyball program has just completed an amazing four-year run for this senior-laden team. Consider the following:

  • The Kennedale Lady Kats ended the 2021 season at 32-7-1 overall and 10-0 in district play. The Kats this season were one of just eleven teams to finish the regular team winning 30 or more matches (games).
  • The program over the last four years has never lost the district title nor a district game with a 4-year district record of 38-0.
  • Three times the Lady Kats went three deep and twice the Kats played in the state semifinals.
  • The overall four-year record was 118-36 going 32-7-1, 10-0 this past season; 24-4, 4-0 in 2020; 37-8, 12-0 in 2019; and 25-17, 12-0 in 2018.
  • The current Kats have continued streaks including capturing the program’s 8th straight district title and making the playoffs for the 15th straight year.
  • This past four-year period has put the team among the rest of the major sports programs at KHS that have reached the state final four or the finals in their sports division. This includes Wildcat Softball, Baseball, Football, Girls’ Soccer, and Girls’ and Boys’ Track. Most like the volleyball team now, have done it more than once.
