Kats are on top after 1st round …
At the end of round one in district play, Kennedale sits alone at 5-0 followed by Godley (17-7, 4-1), Midlothian Heritage (18-7, 3-2), Alvarado (16-14, 2-3), Diamond Hill-Jarvis (6-11, 1-5) and Venus (4-16, 0-5).
The biggest worry for Head Coach Jennifer Patterson is that the Lady Kats might become too complacent and let up. She does have last year as an incentive for the Kats. The Lady Kats start all over in district action, Tuesday night, with a game against Midlothian Heritage. The game will be there with the varsity game time set for 6 pm. Kennedale will return home Friday to play Godley in an early game at 4:30 at Kennedale High School.
