I give my time to this city?and place my faith in its people?because the local level is where government proves its value. The past year has been challenging, but I continue to believe that Kennedale is worth every effort I can give. {{more: continue …}}
In the twenty-plus years I have been involved in local government, I have seen people who disagree come together for the good of this city. And I have seen the city prosper. We have brought in new businesses, better parks, and our own public library. Kennedale has won recognition for Ethics and Transparency, and we have seen community involvement grow with the Youth Advisory Council, Citizen Advisory Boards, and regional outreach efforts. Strong regional relationships have brought Kennedale millions of dollars in grants, county, state, and federal funding for roads, water/wastewater infrastructure and parks.
Kennedale has come a long way, but there is always more we can do. If reelected, I will continue to work for growth, well-paying jobs, community parks, and expanded mobility in the city and around the region. And I will, as always, seek consensus and cooperation in our efforts to move forward the only way we can?together.
