Perseverance is what makes the world go around and JFD Elementary honors it

Merriam’s Dictionary defines perseverance as “continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure, or opposition.” Other words that might be used for perseverance are tenacity, determination, and commitment. In Texas, it is just called grit.

Perseverance may be an unappreciated trait but not at James Delaney Elementary.

The school honors students who exemplify this trait by awarding students with a Paw Pride Award for Perseverance.

Last month the campus selected 36 students for the award, representing each grade level.

Congratulations to all.
