On behalf of everyone in the Kennedale Independent School District, our school family congratulates Bahij T. Said on his recent letter of commendation and appointment to join the United State Naval Academy as an incoming member of the Class of 2027. This news comes as a result of a recently received letter which informs Bahij that this appointment comes as the result of having “successfully competed with outstanding people from across the nation for admission into this historic institution.” Bahij’s official Induction Day is scheduled for June 29, 2023. Bahij joins the ranks of over 81,500 men and women alumni who have attended the United States Naval Academy, including one President of the United States, 26 Members of Congress, 54 Astronauts, 73 Medal of Honor Recipients, and two Nobel Prize winners. Congratulations once again to Bahij T. Said on this appointment to serve our country in the U.S. Navy.
